另一对来自马里兰州的美国夫妇，63岁的爱德华?荷姆斯(Edward NathanielHolmes)及49岁的辛西娅?戴伊(Cynthia AnnDay)，28日还曾在脸书贴出两人在开阔水域欢乐度假的照片，标题是「毕生难得的乘船体验！」但30日准备退房当天，他们被酒店人员发现双双倒毙在房间内。多明尼加国家警察表示，两人死于呼吸衰竭和肺水肿、肺部液体异常积聚；房内没有任何打斗迹象。
