卑诗省前省长简蕙芝（Christy Clark），正式加入加拿大电讯巨擘传萧氏传讯（Shaw Communications），出任董事。

萧氏传讯6月29日星期五发表声明，指无论在政坛或商界，简蕙芝在全国拥有丰富和良好的人脉网络，特别是在包括大温区这个公司最大市场的卑诗省。

简蕙芝由2011至2017年出任卑诗省长，成为加国史上任期最长的女省长。直至去年8月，她领导的自由党遭新民主党与绿党联手透过不信任动议而被拉下马。简蕙芝宣布退出政坛。
