卑诗省公共安全厅公布，至8月30日星期四中午，全省仍有518宗山火正在焚烧，其中宗较为严重，或对公众构成安全威胁。

由4月1日至8月30日，卑诗省共发生2,015宗山火，444宗由人为引起，超过125万公顷土地遭焚毁，较2017年的121万公顷更多，是历来最差的山火季节。
